iphriday–2 sets of roommates

iPhriday is a day to share photos off of your phone.  Join us by creating a post and tagging it iPhriday, or link to one of my posts so I can find you and feature you here at GD&C

Gina and I were roommates in college approximately a hundred years ago.  We were instant friends and have been friends ever since.  We both married within a year of each other, our husbands have become friends, we had our children in the same season, and now our girls are college roommates.  I’m thankful for the blessings that are still pouring from this friendship. Screen Shot 2016-08-12 at 9.35.18 AMHere is a list of my other iPhriday phriends:

iPhriday is a day to feature the photos you’ve collected on your cell phone.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t lug my fancy camera everywhere.  However, I do always have my cell phone and I’m finding that some of my favorite photos are those I have taken with my phone.  Join me on Fridays by creating your own post, then tagging it iPhriday so I can find you and feature you here at GD&C!

My daughter Jenna and her friend Hannah just moved in to their first apartment this week.  They’re both Harry Potter fans, so when I found this almost-life-sized cardboard cutout of Severus Snape on Oriental Trading’s web site, I knew I had to get it for a housewarming present.  I was sad to see him leave my house, but what better spy could I have than Professor Snape? IMG_2853IMG_2849

AB0A7818-2I saw this model hand in the Hobby Lobby drawing section and thought “That looks how my hands feel in the morning.” After 40 years of piano playing, and probably bad genes, my hands are feeling older than their age. But, I will keep on playing. Thank you Lord for music, for a reason to play, and for Advil.
