Around here we love the movie Elf.  The word purple-y comes from that movie: (it’s just a few seconds into the clip if you don’t want to watch the whole thing)

      1. In my area, I found a spot once that, at sunrise, is phenomenal however I haven’t found the time to go and get pictures of it.
        It truly shows the layout of the land near where I live as it’s the highest point and the sun comes up perfectly over the town
