My neighbor spotted 11 bald eagles last week at the local state park. I’ve been trying to get out there as much as possible, so yesterday Mr. GD&C and I drove out and went for a walk. We saw 7 eagles! They were in the trees and circling above us. It is such a thrill to see these birds, but it was fun to see the other birds as well. (The ones that the eagles are keeping an eye on, I suspect!)

Stunning photographs, good for you on the bald eagles
Thanks! I don’t think they’ll stay. I hear they follow the food, so when the Canadas leave, they’ll go with them.
Very nice pictures all of them. But the eagle is special, I always liked them.
I really get a thrill, watching a bald eagle. Guess I’m just so happy and thankful to be in a place where I can do that.
Your photos are fabulous! We don’t have any Canada Geese here right now … they show up later, in the Spring.
Well maybe the eagles will be with them!
They sure are stunning pics .. Bet you were excited taking these
It was so fun!
Look like you had a great day!
Great shots. I love that last one.
Thanks! Hope you’re well!
Thanks Lisa, I’m well. I’ve been pretty out of action with my various injuries but just the ankle issue remains and it’s not so bad yay!!! Almost back to “normal” 😜
Ok, somehow I missed your ankle issues. I’m going to hop over to your blog…
Oh sorry I probably haven’t mentioned. I fell coming off a tram a few weeks ago and jarred my leg and messed up my ankle that I sprained late last year. It’s a dodgy ankle from when I was a kid and hairline fractured it. It’s full of scar tissue and adhesions which my physio is working on breaking up. It’s sore but absolutely manageable. I’m so happy I can walk up and down stairs “normally” again 😊😊
Oh my goodness!! You poor thing!
Oh it’s ok, much better now. I can actually walk up and down stairs without issues!! Thanks hun x.
What a nice variety of birds, and eagles, such a treat! Great shots!
So that’s where our Canada Geese went…
Exciting. Nice winter wildlife shots
I,love all your bird pictures
