shutter priority

I went back out to the lakes yesterday, this time using the shutter priority setting at 1/2000.  The sun was partially out, so I probably wouldn’t have had problems using aperture priority anyway, but it was fun to try something different.

  1. Lovely. Still waiting to see if we have some overwintering in the open water upriver from the bridge – and next to our house. The last two years we had too much snow cover so they couldn’t forage for food and left. I miss them. How long is your lens?

    1. I’m amazed by the sheer number here. Some of the lakes are big enough that parts of them don’t freeze very often, so we’re fortunate in that way. My lens is a 100-400. I hope they come visit you in 2016!
